Gibbons Classic 2004

This year's Gibbons 2004 was kicked off playing on Sunday afternoon on 26 September 2004 at Mountain Laurel Golf Course in White Haven, PA.  The tourney continued the next day playing Monday morning at Wilkes Barre Municipal Golf Course in Wilkes Barre, PA and Four Seasons Golf Course in the afternoon located in Exeter, PA.

Also on Monday, the remnants of Hurricane Jeanne was coming up the coast and threatening our ability to play on Tuesday.  So the "Rules Committee" made the smart decision to convert the round played at Four Seasons from the Scramble to the third round of stroke play.  As it turned out, Jeanne came as promised and washed out any scramble play that would have been played on Tuesday.

The winners!!!

The honors for this year's Gibbons Classic goes out to Mike and Les.  These two played consistently all three rounds and edged out Ed and Mike by one stroke for the title.
